Shammai Rockove, M.D.

Dr. Rockove received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago Illinois. He completed his general surgery and urologic surgery training at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland. He did his pediatric urologic surgery training at the prestigious Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. Doctor Rockove joined the faculty of urology at OHSU in 1995 where he was active in both clinical care and specialty research. Dr. Rockove is certified by the American Board of Urology.

Kent Toland, M.D.

Dr. Toland graduated from medical school at Oregon Health Sciences University in 1988. He completed his Urology residency at The University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver, Colorado in 1993. He was in practice in Corvallis, Oregon until joining The Center for Men's and Women's Urology, LLC in 2008. Dr. Toland was board certified by the American Board of Urology in 1996 and re certified in 2006.

Cheri Springer, M.S., P.A. -C.

Cheri graduated with a master of science in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove in 2002. She also has an undergraduate degree in psychology from Oregon State University. Cheri is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and has specialized in urology since 2002. She has also served as president of the Oregon Society of Physician Assistants. Cheri is considered an expert in pelvic floor disorders.

Theresa, Administrator

Theresa received her Bachelors degree from The University of Portland. She went on to complete a masters degree program in administration from Lewis and Clark College in 1986. She then taught in the Portland Public School District for 15 years after which she pursued a career in real estate. Following this, Theresa successfully helped create The Center for Men's and Women's Urology where she is currently enjoying her position as the Office Administrator.

Carol, Certified Medical Assistant

Carol completed her medical assistant training at Clackamas Community College in 2002. She is certified through The American Association of Medical Assistants certificate. She completed her internship in the family practice setting. She is certified in First Aide, CPR, is a member of the A.A.M.A., and has completed the Laborie training course in urodynamics. Carol enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and camping with her husband. She has a black belt in karate.

Jean, Medical Front Office

Jean attended Mt. Hood Community College where she took classes in a variety of office management applications. She has been able to successfully operate a busy, often hectic front desk area. You can be assured of a smile and warm greeting from Jean.

Gail, Billing Specialist

Gail holds an Associates of Business degree in Computer Science and is also a Certified Medical Coder. She worked for many years in accounting and software development before coming to work at our office in 2004 where she handles all aspects of billing and coding. In her spare time, Gail enjoys outdoor activities with her son and husband.

Farm, Medical Assistant

Farm graduated from Western Business College in 2005. She completed her internship with a podiatrist, and in addition is both CPR and First Aide certified. Farm enjoys a number of activities including scrap booking, shopping, fishing, and pen collecting.

Dennis, Medical Records Specialist

Dennis graduated from Apollo College in 2005. He completed his Medical Assistant Training and internship in the family practice setting at OHSU. He currently attends Mt. Hood Community College where he is taking pre-requisites to apply to nursing school. Dennis enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Angela, Front Desk Receptionist

Angela attended Marylhurst University for two years where she studied Environmental Science. She then decided to pursue a nursing degree and is currently taking pre-requisites to apply to nursing school. She has spent many years at The Center for Urology and has volunteered at OMSI's body world exhibit. Some of her hobbies include knitting, snowboarding, and hiking.

Natalie, Human Resources Coordinator

Natalie graduated from the University of Portland with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship where she worked very diligently in student government. She is currently applying for her masters in business administration with an emphasis in Finance. Two of Natalie's greatest experiences at UP include studying abroad in Mexico in the summer of 2005 and London this past summer. Natalie grew up in Oregon and in her spare time enjoys snowboarding, spending time with her friends and family, golfing, and tennis.

Julie, Billing Specialist

Julie graduated from the University of Portland where she earned a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting. She has over 8 years of experience in the field of medical office administration, which includes specialty and primary care clinics, and over 15 years of accounting and bookkeeping experience. A native Oregonian, in her spare time she enjoys cooking, mountain biking, hiking, tennis, and gardening, along with attending her children’s various sporting events.

Jolene, Certified Medical Assistant

Jolene completed her medical assistant training at Apollo College in 1995. She spent 12 years in Ear, Nose, Throat/ Head & Neck Surgery before joining our group. She is certified by and a member of the American Association of Medical Assistants. She is also certified in First Aid and CPR. She enjoys volunteering for Meals-on-Wheels, camping with her family and reading.

Krissy, Administrative Assistant

Krissy was born and raised in Seattle, WA. She graduated from the University of Portland in 2009, with a Bachelors of Business Administration degree in Accounting and Finance. She is currently studying for the CPA exam and plans to become a certified accountant. In her spare time she enjoys working out, cooking, water skiing and spending time with friends and family.

Kayla, Medical Receptionist

Kayla was born and raised in Portland Oregon. She graduated from Reynolds High School in 2005 with a Professional Diploma in Business Administration. She attended Mt Hood Community College from 2005 to 2007 taking general studies courses. In her spare time she enjoys taking her dogs to the river, playing indoor/sand volleyball and watching movies with friends.

Sandra, Medical Receptionist

Sandra grew up in Portland, Oregon where she attended Parkrose High School and graduated in 2001. She went on to attend Mt Hood Community College from 2003 to 2005 where she focused in general studies. She enjoys shopping, camping, jogging, watching movies and spending time with her husband.

Bri, Medical Assistant

Bri graduated from Western Business College in 1999. She is CPR certified and First Aid certified. Bri has been working in the field of urology for 10 years. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, reading, and long walks with her dog.

Naomi, Medical Billing Assistant

Naomi earned an AAS degree in the area of Medical Office Management in 2010 from Mt. Hood Community College. She is a Certified Professional Coder with the American Academy of Professional Coders. She enjoys many outdoor activities with her family including camping, hiking and fishing.
